In my last article, due to the Covid-19, I talked about single-player videogames to play during a quarantine. But some people prefer to share the experience with friends, or random people. So this article is for those who rather not play alone.
Minecraft
What you can do in Minecraft is only limited by your imagination. Traverse dangerous lands while crafting armors and weapons, building a shelter to spend the night, make your way to the deepest part of the Nether, etc. What better way of experience these possibilities than with your friends? Across the years, many gamers joined forces to build incredible things in the game. Recently, a group of gamers finishes a work that took them 6 years, they built the whole Middle-Earth from “The Lord Of The Rings”, just insane!
So, if you and your friends feel up to the challenge, or just want a good time, you can’t go wrong with Minecraft. Also, the “Bedrock version” supports cross-play on all current-generation consoles. A huge bonus in games like these.
Minecraft is currently available in almost every gaming device. Playable on PS3, PS4 PSVita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo DS. There is also the “Pocket Edition” available on Android and iOS.
Call of Duty: Warzone
Call of Duty: Warzone was recently released and quickly became the most played battle-royale. The game features high-quality graphics, competitive gameplay with more than 100 players, the possibility to built your own game style with multiple classes and gear and a huge map to test your skills.
This is currently the best and most played battle-royale in the world and it’s totally free. Be advised though, if you don’t own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare you will need to download 100GB to play Warzone.
Warzone is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. So, gear up and I’ll see you in the front lines.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
If you are the kind of gamer that prefers facing the evil forces of hell in an RPG, this is a must-play. The game features both couch and online co-op up to 4 players. In this game, you will play as one of the game classes such as Crusader, Witch Doctor, Barbarian, etc. The objective in the game is to defeat powerful demons that threaten the world, defeating hordes of monsters to upgrade our character skills and acquire new and stronger gear.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls features dozens of hours of gameplay and high replayability. This is the ideal game if you want to lock down yourself and play with some friends for days.
The game is available in PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
If you like Diablo and other mobile RPGs, there is also Diablo Immortal to play on the go if you don’t have access to a console or pc.
Overwatch
Overwatch is a first-person shooter videogame developed by Blizzard, creators of Warcraft and Diablo. In this game, we can choose one of 31 heroes divided into 3 main classes and with their own unique skills to take on competitive matches with other players. Overwatch offers a huge amount of gameplay time due to its gameplay, easy to hook up but hard to master. The variety in the gameplay between each character makes every game different, enjoyable and addictive.

All right I might be cheating here, but sports fans will surely appreciate it. If you like sports you must be pretty annoying right now with all current seasons of everything getting suspended. So, if you would like to have a similar experience, you might as well try picking your favorite sport’s videogame. There is one for anyone, FIFA, NBA, MLB, F1, UFC, and many others.
These games allow you to make your own matches with your favorite teams, play online or offline with friends, make your own character or team and guide them to the top of their career and many more game modes, the choice is yours. The games also feature ultra-realistic graphics, high quality physics and in-game commentaries just as the real thing.
