Introduction:
Welcome to the Cosmic Top Secret Trophy Guide!
The latest game published by Nakana.io who previously brought us other beautiful games like Journey of the Broken Circle and Arrog.
Cosmic Top Secret is a multi award winning documentary/biographical interactive game that tells the interesting and unique true story about the life/family/secrets of the game creator Trine Laier, taking you on her own personal journey to try and uncover the truths about her parents involvement with the Danish Intelligence during the Cold War.
There will be 5 levels to complete, and you will have to do some detective work to discover the passcodes to input to be able to complete and exit the levels. (Or, find the passcode answers in the guide below!) But you will still need to collect and gather intel/collectables before you are able to access the exit gates. So for the platinum the main thing you have to do is just explore the maps and grab all the collectables you see. Be aware for the ‘All or Nothing’ trophy you do need to find every single one of 394 collectables hidden throughout the game! Good luck Agent!
Roadmap:
Step 1: Simply enjoy and complete the 5 levels of the game.
Complete the story tasks to progress through and complete all the levels of the game. They are quite linear so nothing difficult to worry about, just have fun and enjoy the game and the dialogue and video clips learning more about the story. However if you wish you can skip dialogue by pressing right on the D-pad. (Hence the 2-5 hour platinum estimation, which is simply dependant on whether you choose to skip or not.) Collect any of the items you see around, gathering the intel which will enable you to exit a level when you have filled the 9 slots of the Rubik’s cube with intel which will then allow you to solve the passcode and exit completing the level.
(Note: You do need to find ALL of the 394 collectables in the game however don’t really worry about that right now, we’ll be doing this for the final step, when it becomes easier because they will glow more after completing the game. OR… If you want to get everything done in one go, you can follow the linked video walkthrough below.)
In this step you’ll be earning these trophies: 1. Dossier
Unclassified
Restricted
Confidential
Secret
Top Secret
Army Sports Expert
The Egg
Hello!
Step 2: In Level 3 hit the target on the prison in Warsaw, Poland.
This is the only miscellaneous trophy in the game. When you have followed the story line you will reach a part where you can then fly as a paper plane for the rest of the level. Fly to the south of the map to coordinates F4 where you will see a target/bullseye on the top of the prison building. Fire a smoke grenade by pressing R2 and when you hit this target this trophy will unlock. Location can be found at 47:59 in the linked video below.
(Not missable as you can of course also grab this from level select via the ‘mole’ after you have completed the game.)
During this step you’ll earn these trophies:
Smoke Grenade
Step 3: Collectables clean-up.
After completing the game, you now have access to level select via the ‘mole’. It will be much easier to see and find all the collectables now because when you revisit any area via the mole it will be night time and now all the collectable items will glow more. So now is the time to mop up any of the 394 collectables you might have missed! You can see how many collectables you have or are missing in any level by pressing the button. Yes there is a lot… But it’s not so bad, with just some thorough exploration you should be able to find them all of your own accord. Or use the linked video below to help you find any you have missed.
During this step you’ll earn the following trophies: All or Nothing!

Collectables info:
In the game there will be a total of 394 collectables. You need to find them all if you want the platinum! Via the ‘Map’ screen you can see how many collectables are in each level, and how many you have found so far. You can also find all other collectable/intel information via the ‘Dossier’.
Most of this 394 is made up of 256 ‘bits’. These ‘bits’ are small rings that look a bit like nuts and bolts. Remember the world is made up of cardboard cut-outs, so make sure to check in between the layers of the cardboard rows of small bushes and other parts of the environment to find any sneaky Bits hiding!
Throughout the game there will also be 30 Red Owls to find. These are the most well hidden collectables in the game, they will mostly be hiding on the backs of tree’s or in the corners of buildings, and sometimes even on some roofs. However this collectable has a good clue to help you locate them… When you are near a Red Owl you will hear an owl noise, which will get louder the closer you get. So keep your ears pricked! Tip: To help with finding the owls I turned the in-game music volume down to zero via settings. Which silenced the background sounds but you could still hear the owl sounds at their normal volume making it easier for me to find them.
The remaining collectables of obligatory story intel or additional/optional (not optional if you want the platinum!) intel will all be much easier to see and find, generally in plain sight around the maps, or are awarded in-front of you when you have interacted with characters around the game etc.

![]() ![]() Find all pieces of intel in the game!! |
There are 394 collectables in this game and you have to find them all for this trophy!
There will be:
54 Compulsory Story Intel
54 Additional Intel
30 Red Owls
256 Bits (small rings)
They will be spread across the levels like this:
None are missable as you can grab any you may have missed from level select by using the ‘mole’ after you have completed the game. You can see how many collectables are in a level and how many you have so far by looking on the map screen with .
As you can imagine 394 is far too many for me to write out every single one’s locations, that would be one hell of a long guide lol, so please refer to the video above if you would like help locating any or all of the collectables! But you should be able to find them all of your own accord with just some good exploration. 🙂
However, I will detail here where the 30 Red Owls will be with their coordinates and a brief description to help you find them, as they are the most well hidden and tricky to find of the collectables (remember you will hear an owl noise when you are near one!):

![]() ![]() Complete hand grenade throwing and orienteering. |
In Level 1. (I’m pretty sure this is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed).
Just after you have collected the Bugle, speak to the next group of people who will tell you how to use grenades. Complete this grenade tutorial by throwing grenades at the 3 targets. Then the main story objective of the level is to complete the orienteering, where you have to find the 10 markers around the map. Remember to use the compass in the top right corner or press the button to view your map to be able to easily locate them all! When you have completed the orienteering you can progress to complete the level where this trophy will unlock.
These are the 3 grenade targets to hit:
![]() ![]() Hit the prison in Poland. |
You need to get this miscellaneous trophy in Level 3.
When you have reached the part of the story where you can fly as a paper plane for the rest of the level, fly South to the bottom of the map, to coordinates F4 where you will find this target/bullseye on top of the prison building in Warsaw, Poland. As the plane fire a smoke grenade by pressing R2 at the target for this trophy to unlock.
*It is not technically missable as you can also get this trophy after completing the game by using level select via the ‘mole’.
Here’s a picture to show you what it will look like:
![]() ![]() Save the Buzzard’s egg. |
In Level 1. (I’m pretty sure this is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed).
When you have progressed the story to the part where it is night time and you can then enter the Fort, enter the fort and follow the path, where you will find the buzzard’s egg under an arch in the path. Pick up the egg and continue up to the top of the path, where you will see the spot to place the egg in order to retrieve the Dad’s missing leg from the buzzard, where this trophy will unlock.
Here is a picture to show you where you will find the egg:
![]() ![]() Call Intelligence. |
In Level 2. (I’m pretty sure this is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed).
When you have progressed the story and marched with mom, you will have to throw a grenade to open the hatch door to go through a little room. In this little room interact with the mole which will throw out some headphones. Pick up this listening equipment, and then your phone will ring. Answer your phone, and after the phone conversation this trophy will unlock.
Here is where the mole will give the listening equipment / headphones to pick up:
