Dig Deep centers around mining and resource gathering. you take on the role of a stick figure miner tasked to dig massive holes in the earth’s surface. The gameplay offers not much other than that, but it does have strategic decision-making with the choices of what you wanna focus on and spend your coins and gems on, with the right choices it can be a rewarding experience, if you pick the wrong one, it will be a bit annoying and more grindy.
One area where Dig Deep shines is its thoughtful gameplay mechanics. The balance between resource management adds depth to the gameplay and keeps players engaged throughout the entire adventure.
The art style gives the game a pretty charming feel to the game that most console games don’t really do and only mobile games stick to. It’s not the best, but it’s not trying to be, it’s just a game to sink a bit of time into it, and I think they did do a good job with that in the end, but it’s not a game that you can endlessly play.
If you enjoy mobile games like this, then Dig Deep is definitely worth a dig. But if you are looking for a deep game that offers more, then this is not at all what you will want to play. Other than sinking a tiny bit of time into it if you are bored, this game is not that interesting.
