Introduction:

Welcome to Drowning Trophy Guide! This Walking Sim is about a boy who is dealing with depression in his early years of High School. As you walk through the stunning low-poly environments the story unfolds about how he deals with depression.
The game itself has a unique and powerful storyline where you learn how the character deals with depression, akin to living with someone trying to put you down all the time. This game is published by Sometimes You.

Roadmap:

There are no missable trophies in this game as Chapter Select is available and it is highly recommended that you play at your own leisure to begin with to ensure you are fully immersed in what the game has to offer.

This Platinum Trophy Guide will however be structured to assist you with completing all aspects of the game in the quickest time possible.

Start Game – Trophy Unlocked – New Game
Year 8

• Turn 180 Follow Path to the Waters Edge – Trophy Unlocked – Time To Cool Off
• Turn 180 Follow Path until the Text “I hardly recognised you were there“. turn 90 degrees right and the Gift Box will be located on the floor behind the tree. – Trophy Unlocked – Gift Box
• Pause Game – Select “Skip this scene“.

Year 9

• Follow Path until the Text “But I was glad you were gone”. Turn 90 degrees left and the Snowman is located by the white/black tree. – Trophy Unlocked – Snowman
• Pause Game – Select “Skip this scene“.

Year 10

• Turn 180 Follow Path slightly to the right – Trophy Unlocked – Candle
• Follow Path – Trophy Unlocked – Secret Ending 1

• Follow Path until the Text “Because there’s nothing left for me in this world” there is a tree next to you on the left hand side. The Secret Ball is located on the back of the tree. – Trophy Unlocked – Christmas Tree
• Follow Path until you see the Cabin in the middle of the path. Turn 90 degrees right and try to walk up the hill in the scenery. – Trophy Unlocked –  Mountain Goat
• Follow Path (Around the back of the Cabin) – Trophy Unlocked – Secret Ending 2

Finish The Game Finish the game’s main ending

During Year 12 you will come across a cabin in the middle of the path. Enter the cabin and walk up to the table. Continue along the path until you reach a big glowing door. As soon as you enter the glowing structure the ending will trigger.

Secret Ending 1 Finish the first secret ending

Obtained within Year 10. As soon as you start Year 10 turn 180 degrees and follow the route slightly to the right. Once you reach the end of the path you will have completed this specific ending.

Secret Ending 2 Finish the second secret ending

During Year 12 you will come across a cabin in the middle of the path. You will need to walk around the back of the Cabin and continue along the path until the end to trigger the credits.

Secret Ending 3 Finish the third secret ending

Obtained by following the same route as Finish The Game. This time however do not enter the glowing door structure, but instead, walk round the back of it and continue. The screen will turn dark with glowing yellow lights and once you reach the Camp Fire at the end of the path the Trophy will pop.

All Endings Complete Finish and complete all the game endings

This will be obtained once you have achieved the 4 possible endings. Refer to the relevant ending trophy description that you are missing.

New Game Start a new game for the first time

This Trophy will unlock as soon as you click on New Game from the Main Menu.

Time To Cool Off Try and swim in the pond in year 8

Obtained within Year 8. The “pond” actually looks a bit like a lake. As soon as the game starts turn around 180 degrees and walk towards the pond. Shortly after you reach the water’s edge the Trophy will pop.

Don’t Fall Off Try to fall off the bridge 10 times in year 11

During Year 11 you will be walking across a wooden bridge. Simply move left and right 10 times as if you were trying to walk off of the bridge.

Rock Climber Try to climb the large rock at the beginning of year 12

Right at the beginning of Year 12 turn 180 degrees and walk towards the large rock. As soon as you reach the dead end and attempt to climb the rock this trophy will pop.

Mountain Goat Try to climb the hill in the dark forest

Obtain during Year 12. As soon as you see the Cabin in the dark forest look immediately right and you should see a large hill. You will not be able to reach the hill, but the trophy will be obtained as soon as you attempt to walk towards the hill.

Gift Box Find the secret gift box

Obtained within Year 8. The Gift Box is located on the grass on the right-hand side. When you see the script “I hardly recognised you were there” turn 90 degrees right and the Gift Box will be located on the floor behind the tree.

Snowman Find the secret snowman

Obtained within year 9. The Snowman is located in a tree on the left-hand side. When you see the script “But I was glad you were gone” turn 90 degrees left and the Snowman is located by the white/black tree.

Candle Find the secret candle

The Candle is located within Year 10 and can be found in the middle of the pathway whilst on the route of Secret Ending 1. You will not miss this if heading for Secret Ending 1.

Candy Find the secret candy

The Candy is located within Year 12 and can be found in the grass on the left-hand side. When you see the script “I’m nearly out of breath” turn roughly 100 degrees to the left and the Candy Cane will be located within the dark grass.

Christmas Tree Find the secret ball on the Christmas tree

The Christmas Tree is located in the second part of Year 12 and can be found on the left-hand side. When you see the script “Because there’s nothing left for me in this world” there is a tree next to you on the left-hand side. The Secret Ball is located on the back of the tree.

Sock Find the secret sock

Obtained during Year 12 within the “White Area” and can be found on the left-hand side behind one of the lampposts. When you see the script “You drove me to the point of insanity” turn 90 degrees left and the sock will be located next to the lamppost.
