Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust is the 1st DLC of the PlayStation console exclusive Forspoken that shows the backstory of what happened to Athia. Here is our Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust Review.

The game is developed and published by Square Enix, it was released on May 26, 2023, for PC and PlayStation 5.

In Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust we follow a voice to a strange stone that brings us back in time to the war that started the destruction of Athia. In this DLC Frey goes into the body of a soldier of Olas that has gotten a strange power, in the DLC the powers get explored what they actually mean while trying to stop the people of Rheddig ending on a cliffhanger that teases the next game.

The powers we have are a lot easier than the powers from the main game and are a lot smoother as well making the combat a lot more enjoyable as well. The overall world was limited to only Olas area, while small, the game made it look a lot bigger than it actually was and it’s a fun area to traverse in.

Sadly, there was not a whole lot to do in that area besides a few camps and chests to pick up and nothing really carries over or gives you a boost in the main game afterward either. The side content was just really lacking and the DLC was really just mostly story-based, something I don’t mind due to the low price, but I kinda did want some more of it in the end, it just had me wanting more of the gameplay and combat I played around with in this DLC and hating the main game combat a lot more.

    SUMMARY

While the length was a tiny bit disapointing, all the issues i had with the game game have gotten better and improved making this DLC a more enjoyable experiance then the main game.
