    Introduction:

    Welcome to King Oddball Trophy Guide! This is a physics-based puzzle game. Defeat soldiers, tanks, and helicopters only using the king’s tongue to throw boulders and end the world. The game is developed by 10tons Ltd.

    Roadmap:

    To complete 100% of this game, you will need a lot of patience and skill with a little bit of luck. There are a total of 131 levels in the Main World, in the Moustache World, and in the Hall of Diamonds mode,  20 levels in the Grenade mode, and 16 levels in the One Rock mode. You will guide a king who swings a boulder back and forth by its tongue and you will need to release the boulder to destroy as many troopers as possible with each boulder. To complete a level, you need to destroy every enemy with the rocks you have at the beginning.

    Here is some useful guidance to complete every level:

    • Timing is very important in this game. Try to aim every throw accurately in order to reach many troopers as possible every throw;
    • Every type of enemy has its own physic. Refer to Bronze Destroyer of a Thousand for more details;
    • Combos are awarded from killing more enemies in a single shot, so try to ricochet your rocks on the various enemies to achieve them;
    • Gain as many extra boulders as possible, especially in the One Rock mode (See the Bronze You Rock! trophy for more details). You get them from 3X (one extra rock) and 6X combos (two extra rocks) or by hitting back the King with a thrown rock or a trooper;
    • Sometimes enemies have shields. Use them to your advantage to make your rocks bounce to other enemies.
    • In some levels, there are explosive boxes. They are quite useful because they can make your boulder faster and bounce around to hit other troopers;
    • In the Grenade mode, you don’t have boulders but grenades instead. Grenades explode so use the shockwave to your advantage in order to easily complete the levels (See the Bronze Grenadier trophy for more details);
    • In the Hall of Diamonds mode, your last boulder is replaced by a diamond. To complete the level and make it count for the Gold Full of Diamond trophy, you need to finish the level without using it or better, you can use it but the diamond NEEDS to bounce back to hit the King or you need to do a 3X combo minimum in order to receive it back.

    Step 1: Main Campaign & Miscellaneous Trophies
    During this step, you have to complete all 131 levels of the Main World. The map is composed of nine grids with sixteen levels each, and you have to finish a grid to go into the next one. To complete a level, you have to destroy all the troopers in the level with some boulders thrown by the King’s tongue, calculating the direction of your throws.
    In the main campaign, you will have three boulders for each level and you can gain extra rocks by destroying three or six troopers in a single throw or hitting back the king with a boulder or with a trooper. While going through the main campaign you will eventually earn some miscellaneous trophies without any effort but you will have to focus on some of them.

    You’ll be earning these trophies:

    Head Shot!
    Headache
    Destroyer of a Thousand
    Thousand Throws
    Four for One
    Six Pack
    More Than Perfect!
    Golden Five
    World Ender
    Kingslayer

    Step 2: Grenade & One Rock modes
    On your way to the end of the Main World, you will unlock two new bonus modes which require new methods to complete.
    These two modes are:

    - Advertisement -
    • Grenade mode – Unlocked when you clean up the third grid. There are a total of twenty levels in this mode and you will have two grenades at each level instead of three rocks. Grenades explode, so use the shockwave to your advantage in order to easily complete the levels. Remember that you will not earn extra grenades for the 3X and for the 6X multiplier.
    • One rock mode – Unlocked when you clean up the sixth grid. There are a total of sixteen levels in this mode; they are quite similar to the main ones, but you will have only one rock for each level instead of three. Keep in mind that you can earn extra rocks by the three/six multiplier and by hitting the King.

    Consult the roadmap section of this guide to have more details on how to easily get into these two modes.

    During this step you’ll earn these trophies:

    You Rock!
    Grenadier

    Step 3: Unlock and Finish the Moustache World
    After clearing the main campaign you’ll have to find eight Moustaches in order to unlock a “brand-new” world (Refer to Bronze Stash of’Stache for more details). After collecting them all, you will unlock the related trophy and a new icon on the bottom-left of the main map. Go here to enter the secret world: The Moustache World.

    You will find that the levels of the secret world are the mirror of the main levels, so if you’ve completed them once, you shouldn’t have any trouble with completing them again.

    Note
    : You can find the eight Moustaches before the end of the Main Campaign, but it’s better to focus on them separately.

    During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:

    Stash of ‘Stache
    Secret Moustache World

    Step 4: Hall of Diamonds mode & cleanup
    This will be the hardest but last step of the game because you have to repeat all 131 levels again with two rocks instead of three. The third rock will be replaced by a Diamond that you have to spare in order to collect it and complete the level. Some levels are easy, but there are a lot of them that can drive you crazy if you are not patient and a little bit lucky.

    Consult the roadmap section of this guide to have more details on how to ease your life. During this stage, you can do all the miscellaneous trophies as well if you’ve missed something. Once you’re done with this last step, you will earn your last trophy and a new 100%:

    Full of Diamonds

    Guides:

    1L94d61dAll Birds With One Stone
    Complete a level using only one rock.

    This trophy should be one of the first trophies you will earn on your way to completing the game. In order to achieve it, you need to finish a level with just one rock. You have three rocks each level in the Main World so make sure to use only one of them to kill all the troopers in the level. It’s easily doable in the first levels of the main campaign.

    If you can’t achieve it during your first playthrough, don’t worry, you are obliged to do it while going for the Bronze You Rock! trophy. Below there is a video that shows a method to get this trophy. However, it is a really lucky throw:

    2L56169eHead Shot!
    Hit the King with a rock.

    In order to get this trophy, you have to hit the King with a rock. If you do it you will be rewarded with an extra rock so it’s a useful trick to complete harder levels. The easiest method to do it is to make the rock bounce on a trooper and let the rock hit the King. There are a lot of opportunities to hit the King in most of the levels.

    For a video that shows an easy way to do this, refer to the Bronze Kingslayer trophy.

    3LafdacaHeadache
    Hit the King with a rock three times during a level.

    To make this trophy unlock, you need to hit the King three times in the same level with the rocks you have, or with the rocks, you obtain from hitting him and from the 3X/6X kill multiplier. You don’t have to hit the King three times in a row so take your time to calculate every throw.

    For a video that shows an easy way how to do this refer to the Bronze Kingslayer trophy.

    4L9146ccDestroyer of a Thousand
    Destroy a thousand enemies.

    Enemies are all the troopers you will find in the levels. You will kill more than a thousand enemies on your way to the completion of every trophy in the game. There are four types of troopers in the game, shown in the table below.

    ImageTrooperDescription
    TanksThese enemies are the first you will encounter in the game, you can easily bounce on them to achieve multiplier and hit the King back for extra boulders.
    HelicoptersThere are two types of helicopters but they have the same physics. When you hit them, they will fall down and don’t let the rock bounce. In some levels, they can move up and down or from left to right.
    SoldiersThere are two types of Soldiers (normal and skeleton) but they have the same physics. When you hit them, they vanish and stop the boulder.
    A shielded version of all the troopers
    Shields make all the troopers invulnerable for one hit or two (in case of a double shield). When you hit a shield, it will blow up and the rock will bounce away faster. You can use them to hit the King and to do high combos.
    5L183a55Thousand Throws
    Throw a thousand projectiles.

    To earn this trophy, you have to throw a thousand boulders. It will come naturally on your way to completion of the game.

    6Laa0718Four for One
    Destroy four enemies with one throw.

    To get this trophy you need to kill four troopers in a single throw. There are a lot of opportunities to do this trophy and you will need to do a lot of combos to gain extra rocks, so it should come naturally while playing.
    However, if you are struggling to get it, refer to the Bronze Six Pack trophy for a video that shows how to easily do it.

    7L3e9502Six Pack
    Destroy six enemies with one throw.

    This one can be stacked with the Bronze Four for One trophy. To get it, you need to destroy six troopers with a single boulder. If you do it you will gain the trophy and two extra boulders too, so keep that in mind that it can be a good method to earn extra rocks. Below there is a video which shows the easiest way to do it:

    8L5b2dbeMore Than Perfect!
    Complete a level with one rock and gain more than one extra rock.

    This trophy can be a tricky one. In order to achieve it, you need to complete a level with one throw and gain at least two extra rocks. Extra rocks are gained from the 3X/6X multiplier and from hitting the King with a boulder or an enemy. Below there is a video that shows with a little bit of luck how to do it.

    9Ld96a09Golden Five
    Gain five extra rocks during a level.

    This trophy can be a tricky one. In order to get it, you have to gain five extra rocks on a level. Extra rocks are gained from the 3X/6X multiplier and from hitting the King with a rock or with an enemy. Calculate every throw in order to get more kills in a single throw. Remember that if you hit the King more than four times he will die and you have to restart the level. Below there is a video that shows how to do it.

    16L713a3eFull of DiamondsGold
    Collect all diamonds in Hall of Diamonds.

    This should be the most difficult trophy in the game because you will need to do all 131 Levels again but with only two rocks instead of three. The third rock will be replaced by a diamond and you must spare it on each level to make it count as completed. To make it through all the levels, you are obliged to gain extra rocks, so use the same strategies as always.
    NOTE: You can throw the diamond too, but it must either ricochet back to hit the king or hit a combo. This will reward you with a bonus diamond.

    Here is an amazing playlist with all the diamonds levels done (credit to BradLeafsFan9)
