Limit Zero Breakers is a brand new linear Action RPG by NCSoft with an amazing anime style that you dont want to miss. Here are our thoughts on Limit Zero Breakers.
At gamescom, we got invited by the kind people over at NCSoft to play a few of their upcoming games, and one of them was Limit Zero Breakers. We did get some goodies for attending this event like a notebook, but this does not influence our opinion of the game.
I got to try a lot of gacha/anime games at gamescom this year, something i wanted to do due to how much i enjoy them sometimes, but that also brought me to this game that i had scheduled as a “Secret game” that i didnt even know what it was before i played it, and i was pleasantly surprised and the second i saw the trailer in the meeting i knew i had a new game high on my list of must play games. They didnt share that much of the game, and even now, i barely know anything besides what happens in the first few missions, but what i did play, i had a blast with.
Gaming has become more a job now then being a hobby, but this game brought me a bit more back down and made me actually enjoy some of my time again, i lost track of tim and just full got drawn into this game, something i havent had that same level of in a long time, other then recently with Pokemon Z-A that is. Everything in this game just felt perfect, the characters looked cool and enjoyable to use and it didnt feel like i had to read a book to understand the mechanics and gameplay.
The combat can be compared a bit with genshin, its pretty basic but in a good way, it didnt feel overwhelming but it is enough to still make you try out some different tactics. but taking down the enemies is also jus very satisfying. It’s not really that hard from what i remember, but it did have some amazing visuals.
I started off in a small village that had this guild i wanted to join or had to do a quest for, but then i found someone who thought i could be a special someone to help her vind something, it sounds pretty basic, and it is, but when you see it visually, its a lot more engaging and fun.
