    Mario is one of the biggest video game icons, so over the years there have been plenty of other games that paid homage to the legendary Mario franchise. Let’s check out some Mario Easter Eggs In Other Games.

    When Ezio meets his uncle, also named Mario, he says Mario’s famous catchphrase: “It’s a-me, Mario!”. With the game taking place in Italy, there had to be of course at least 1 person named Mario, but to even get his catchphrase? That was an unexpected surprise!

    Dying Light

    Dying Light has a lot of subtle easter eggs hidden around the map like King Arthur’s sword being one of them, but there is also one pretty big easter egg related the Mario. There is a recreation of the 1st level hidden inside a chimney that you can enter. It even has some weird Goomba like zombies that you can squash and it will even reward you with a craftable.

    Hitman (2016)

    Ever got so annoyed at the brothers you wanted to shove them in a box? Now you can in the 2016 reboot of Hitman. On the Sapienza map, you can find them working the plumbing system. Take them down, and steal their clothing to become one of the brothers yourself.

    Asterix & Obelix XXL 2

    There is an enemy with a skin like Mario and his water-spraying friend F.L.U.D.D. from Super Mario Sunshine that you can defeat. These are some regular enemies and even do Mario’s “Mamma mia!” scream when you defeat him.

    Goat Simulator 3

    During your fight with The Farmer in the game, he will randomly pull out a retro handheld console and transport you to a Super Mario Bros. type level that you will need to complete. At least this is easier then the Flappy Bird mini-game in the 1st game…
