    Introduction:

Welcome to the Minecraft Dungeons Trophy Guide! After the most popular game in the world ever, Mojang is back with a new game in the world of Minecraft!

    Roadmap:

Step 1: Defeat the Arch-Illager on Default Difficulty

During your 1st playthrough, you will already get most of the trophies in the game without even trying. To unlock the next difficulty you will need to complete the game at least 1 time.

In this step, you will get most of the trophies naturally.

    You’ll be earning these trophies:

    Bronze Happy Camper
    Bronze Wooden Sword

    Silver Out of the Woods
    Bronze Fancy That!
    Silver Cha-Ching!
    Silver Worked Like A Charm
    Bronze Scrappy Scout
    Silver Break the Spell
    Silver The Plot Thickens
Silver Built On Sand, Set in Stone

    Gold Oooh! Shiny!
    Silver Diamond Sword
    Silver Apprentice Adventurer
    Gold High and Dry
    Gold Saved The Overworld

Step 2: Defeat the Arch-Illager on Adventure and Apocalypse Difficulty

After defeating the Arch-Illager on default you will need to replay the story 2 times for the final “story” trophy. You don’t have to complete all the levels all over again to unlock Apocalypse mode.

If you want you can go straight to the boss again. This is not recommended because you will not make it past the 1st area. Instead, grind out the highest possible gear in the mission Creepy Crypt. In the trophy Silver Out of the Woods is a description on how to unlock this secret level.

During this step you’ll earn these trophies:

    Gold Expert Explorer
    Gold High Treason

    Step 3: Clean up

There might be some trophies leftover that you missed during the main playthrough. You can always go back to older levels to try and get these last ones and grind some things you still need.

During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:

    Gold Life Of The Party
    Bronze Passive Aggressive
    Bronze Blast Radius
    Silver More For Me
    Silver A Friend In Need
    Bronze Om Nom Nom
Gold Maxed Out And Geared Up
    40-platinum Bragging Rights

    Tips and Strategies:

There are a few things that can make your platinum go way faster/easier:

    • Play in a team. Click here to join our discord and find some teammates.
    • Use the level Creepy Crypt to grind power levels.
    • Skip levels during playthrough 2 and 3.
    • Play the missions and 1 tier higher than you actually are to get better loot.
    • Salvage old loot to get emerald. You will also get back the used enchantment points so you can use them on new things.
    • Use an armor plate with the snowball enchant. this will slow the mob down. There is also a enchant that will stun a mob every second.

    Trophy Guide:

    Bragging Rights
    Unlock all other trophies.

You have defeated the Arch-Illager on the highest difficulty and saved the world of Minecraft!

    Life Of The Party Gold
Revive a downed friend 20 times.

If you play this game with a friend you will probably earn this trophy naturally because you will die a lot before finishing the game.

If you still need this trophy because you played it solo, you could invite a friend, let him equip a super low Power level armor set and let himself die in a default mode level. this way you can pick him up easily without the issue of mobs killing you.

Note: This trophy is also possible in split-screen if you have 2 players.

Don’t have a 2nd controller or just looking for a partner to play with? Check out our discord server! there is probably someone who wants to help you! Click here to join the DEX.EXE Discord server.

    Wooden Sword
    Defeat 50 mobs.

For this trophy you will have to defeat only 50 mobs, in every mission are about 100+ so this should not be an issue to get.

Note: The kill only counts for the person that has the final hit if you play co-op.

    Diamond Sword upscale-245262160018212
    Defeat 2,500 mobs.

Just like Bronze Wooden Sword this trophy will come naturally if you are going for the platinum trophy and probably even already in your 1st playthrough

Note: The kill only counts for the person that has the final hit if you play co-op.

    Passive Aggressive
    Defeat 50 passive mobs.

Passive Mobs are mobs that run away from you and give you some healing items like steak.

Sheep cow and pigs are the 3 animals you need to keep a lookout for. In the level Creeper Woods, you can find the biggest amount of these mobs.

If you still miss this trophy, in the end, you can put the game in default difficulty and rush through that Creeper Woods level a few times until you have defeated 50 of them.

Note: The kill only counts for the person that has the final hit if you play co-op.

    Break the Spell upscale-245262160018212
    Defeat 50 enchanted mobs.

Enchanter mobin the levels Creeper Woods, Soggy Swamp, Pumpkin Pastures, Cacti Canyon and  HighBlock Halls are a few wizard type mob that can enchant other mobs. When you defeat the wizards the mobs they enchant turn back to normal. So defeat the mobs before defeating the wizard.

You will likely get this trophy during your first playthrough. But if you still have not gotten it, in adventure mode there are also some mobs that spawn enchanted without there being a wizard.

You can see that the mobs are enchanted because they have a purple glow and above the screen it has a purple icon beside it.

If you still miss this trophy in the end of the game you can always go back to default mode and grind the last few there because they are easier to kill.

Note: The kill only counts for the person that has the final hit if you play co-op.

    Scrappy Scout
    Reach level 10.

Check out Gold Expert Explorer for more information.

    Apprentice Adventurer upscale-245262160018212
    Reach level 25.

Check out Gold Expert Explorer for more information.

    Expert Explorer Gold
    Reach level 50.

This trophy will come naturally if you complete all the levels while going for the boss on Apocalypse Difficulty. If you still miss this you can always complete some levels again just for fun.

Other than getting enchantment points, the levels don’t really do anything else.

there are 2 ways to quickly level up (this also works to farm Emeralds):

the first way is to go to the Redstone Mines and find a room with a bunch of spawners and keep killing those mobs.

The second way is on the Pumpkin Pastures. When you hit the part where you need to turn the 2 levers, don’t interact with them. The mobs will respawn until you hit those, so you can defeat mobs infinitely.

    Fancy That!
Find and open your first ‘Fancy’ treasure chest.

This trophy is almost impossible to miss. There are regular brown chests but there are also some golden ones in every level. In the level Creepy Crypts are a few of them that spawn after defeating some mobs.

Note: If you play with other players, it only counts for the person that opens the treasure.

    More For Me upscale-245262160018212
    Open 100 treasure chests.

To get 100 treasure chests you can grind out the secret level Creepy Crypts. In this level are about 15 chests per run and it gives you great loot to increase your power level. check out the trophy SilverOut of the Woods to see how to unlock this secret level.

If you open the map you can see how many chests are still left. I recommend having the map open at all times so you can explore every side area for a chest.

Note: If you play with other players, it only counts for the person that opens the treasure, so if you play with 2 people you would need to find 200 chests.

    Cha-Ching! upscale-245262160018212
Collect a total of 1,000 emeralds.

Check out Gold Oooh! Shiny! for more information.

    Oooh! Shiny! Gold
Collect a total of 5,000 emeralds.

5,000 Emeralds seems like a lot but you actually get this kinda fast and probably even before defeating the boss the 1st time.

There are a few ways to earn emeralds

    • Kill mobs (random amount)
    • Open chests (random amount)
    • Break emerald pots (random amount)
    • Special chests at camp (50 Emeralds)

you can also increase the chance of the mobs dropping emeralds with the Prospector enchantment.

    Om Nom Nom
    Eat 200 food items.

Just like the trophy Bronze Passive Aggressive you can grind this one out while doing that one in the level Creeper Woods. you can just replay the level over and over again on default mode.

There is also an armor enchantment that on tier 3 drops 3 food items when you use a potion. Playing on default will make this go by super fast if you keep using the potion when you can.

you can also do them in an afk grind that also counts for an Exp grind. check out Gold Maxed Out And Geared Up for more information about that grind.

Note: If you play with other players, it only counts for the person that picks up the food.

    Happy Camper
Complete Squid Coast and set up camp.

For this Trophy, you have to complete the tutorial level. This should only take about 15 minutes max.

This level is not possible to replay or play in co-op.

Note: It is possible to skip the mission. if you did that the trophy will not pop and you have to make a 2nd character to do this mission.

    Out of the Woods upscale-245262160018212
    Complete Creeper Woods.

This is the first real level of the game, you simply have to complete this mission for the trophy to pop.

Note: I recommend getting the secret level called Creepy Crypt. This level gives you about 15+ chests per run and boosts your current Power Level really fast.

The Creepy Crypt is located after freeing the 1 villager early in the mission. after the gate opens turn left and kill some mobs. after a short walk, you will find a stone structure with a pressure plate. Press the pressure plate and go into the door that just opened. When you enter the cave there will be a scroll that you need to pick up to unlock the level.

    The Plot Thickens upscale-245262160018212
Complete Pumpkin Pastures and Soggy Swamp.

After completing SilverOut of the Woods you will unlock these 2 levels. You only have to complete them both to earn the trophy.

Built On Sand, Set in Stone upscale-245262160018212
Complete Redstone Mines and Cacti Canyon.

After completing SilverThe Plot Thickens you will unlock these 2 levels. You only have to complete them both to earn the trophy.

    High and Dry Gold
Complete Desert Temple, Fiery Forge and Highblock Halls.

After completing SilverBuilt On Sand, Set in Stone you will unlock these 2 levels. You only have to complete them both to earn the trophy.

Note: The final level called Obsidian Pinnacle will only unlock after completing all the other levels in default mode.

    Saved The Overworld Gold
Defeat the Arch-Illager at the Obsidian Pinnacle.

This trophy will unlock after defeating the final boss of the game in default mode.

You should save up your arrows during this level and use them all on the boss. In the boss fight, you should keep your distance to you can dodge his attacks more easily.

The boss has 2 different stages you need to defeat him in. During stage 1 he is in its basic form and only shoots some purple balls.

In the other stages, he turns into this ender monster and shoots purple lasers. Warning: Watch out for those lasers because they will almost insta-kill you. You can dodge these by rolling but you can also go to the right side of the map where there is this little edge that goes down. if you stand here and shoot arrows to defeat him fast and with minimal danger.

The totem of shielding will deflect all his lasers as well and is super useful during this fight.

    High Treason Gold
Defeat the Arch-Illager on Apocalypse difficulty.

This fight is about the same as Gold Saved The Overworld so check out that trophy for more info.

The only difference is, is that you should be about power level 100 to defeat the boss. To grind out higher power levels you should replay Creepy Crypt a few times to get a lot of loot. Check out SilverOut of the Woods on how to unlock Creepy Crypt. Using the blacksmith also works to increase power.

    Blast Radius
Kill any 10 mobs at once with TNT.

There are 2 levels where you can easily get this trophy:

The first one is Pumpkin Pastures. In this level you need to collect at least 1 TNT, once you have it you should keep it until you go to the part close to the ending where you will have to lower a bridge. During this part, a lot of enemies will spawn. you can collect them all, corner them and then throw the TNT against the wall.

Another good level to do this is at Redstone Mines. Close to the ending of this mission is a part with 2 mob spawners, throw the TNT right before the mobs spawn in so you will explode the TNT right after they spawn in.

You can always try this at Default mode to get a lot of enemies together and get minimal damage while grouping them.

Note: The levels are “randomly” generated. So the mob spawners at the Redstone Mines might not always be there.

Maxed Out And Geared Up Gold
Equip a gear set consisting of fully enchanted items (3 enchantment slots upgraded to level 3).

For this trophy, you need to be at least level 55 to have enough Enchantment points to have all things enchanted with a basic enchant. Powerful enchants costs more so you should avoid this as much as possible if you do this trophy.

Items that have 3 enchantment slots only start dropping at power level 80 and higher. if you want this as fast as possible you should keep the items that have 3 slots and enchant the items at the same time and equip them.

    Worked Like A Charm upscale-245262160018212
Enchant an item and upgrade the enchantment to Tier 3.

Every weapon has at least 1 enchant slot. every time you level up you get 1 enchant you can use to tier up a enchant. To open the enchant many in ur inventory press .

Tier 1 costs 1 enchant point
Tier 2 costs 2 enchant points
Tier 3 costs 3 enchant points

So you will need to be at least level 7 to fully upgrade 1 enchant to Tier 3

There are also some Powerful Enchants, these cost more than the basic/common enchants:

Tier 1 costs 2 enchant point
Tier 2 costs 3 enchant points
Tier 3 costs 4 enchant points

So a total of 9 points to fully upgrade them.

Here is a full list of enchantments in the game. I made the ones that are really useful bold:

Use artifacts to summon the Wolf, Llama and Iron Golem allies at least once each.

To summon the 3 allied mobs you need to find their artifacts.

    • Wolf – Tasty Bone
    • Llama – Wonderful Wheat
    • Iron Golem – Golem Kit

all 3 items are possible to find in the artifact blacksmith.

You can also find them in some levels:

Tasty bone – Creeper Woods on all difficulty modes.
Wonderful Wheat – Cactus Canyon and Obsidian Pinnacle on all difficulty modes.
Golem Kit – Pumpkin Patch on Apocalyptic mode.

while doing them in missions you will most likely unlock them from the chest you get for completing the game.

Note: you can spawn them in your camp as well. It doesn’t have to be in a level.

    1. Thanks for the guide, once the dev’s patched the nom Nom trophy Minecraft Dungeons wasn’t that challenging. What i did for the Nom Nom trophy was get gear that has the enchantment that spawns 3 random food items everytime you eat. You can do this in town, it doesn’t have to be in a level. Just wait until your able to restore health by eating, and everytime you do 3 random food items will spawn.
Certain dlc trophies are buggy, making 100% impossible until they get patched.
Overall Minecraft Dungeon is a really enjoyable experience.
