Who Doesn’t Know the Game: “A Game About Digging A Hole”? The game where you simply dig holes in the yard of your newly bought house. The game we’re talking about today is based on that concept. This one is developed and published by Jony Pazu Games. Here’s our review of One Man’s Trash.
First Impressions
I’ll be honest. When I saw the game in my inbox, I thought, here we go again… Another game based on a popular title, another developer trying to milk the concept. But One Man’s Trash really surprised me in a good way. It’s a game that gets repetitive after about an hour, but the urge to keep playing is ridiculously strong. Even when I thought, ugh, I’m getting bored of this, I had to keep going, “just 10 more minutes.” Those 10 minutes turned a one-hour session into three hours.
What You Actually Do
In this game, you dig up junk and sell your trash via a platform called JunkBay. With that money, you buy upgrades to improve your gear. You’ve got character upgrades: Strength, Size, Capacity, and Range. And you’ve got gear and inventory upgrades: Inventory Space, Lamps, Rope, and Scanners. At some point, though, your upgrades get locked. You need to buy a higher tier first, sometimes costing around 20,000 dollars. Only after purchasing that tier can you continue upgrading. I actually think this is a clever idea, because it keeps you grinding for more money, which makes the game feel less repetitive. Oh, and you can also gamble in-game. There’s a slot machine where you can blow all your hard-earned cash. And why are you doing all this? Because you’re hunting for a lost crypto wallet. A lost hard drive worth millions. Funny enough, this reminds me of a real story. When I checked the Steam page, I actually read this: “Inspired by the true story of a man who accidentally threw away 8,000 Bitcoins.”

Weird Stuff You’ll Find
The game is full of surprises and strange mysteries. You’ll come across pop culture relics and unsettling secrets while vacuuming your way through the dirt. From toilets and traffic cones to old relics, lost consoles, cursed cartridges, and mythical collectibles. Need to get back up? Use your rope, or switch your vacuum cleaner to “spit” mode. What I really like is that the deeper you go, the weirder it gets. You’ll encounter stranger and stranger things, and yes, even creatures. I’m not telling you what exactly, because that would ruin the surprise. But trust me, you’ll be amazed.
Final Thoughts
This is one of those games that seems like it would get boring fast, but somehow you just keep wanting more. Think about mining in Minecraft. You’re deep in a cave, you know you should head back to the surface, but something inside you whispers, keep going, keep digging, keep exploring. That’s exactly the feeling this game gives you.

One Man’s Trash is releasing on Steam for $6.85, BUT, it will have a special release discount of 30% making the game temporarily only $4.80.
