    Paladin Dream Review (Steam)

With a cute art style and some nice sprites, this game has a unique visual style that really makes the game stand out among other games of its sort. Paladin Dream brings together a nice story, unique art but a pretty difficult experience that takes a few tries to continue its story during your time playing. Here is our Paladin Dream Review (Steam)!

Paladin Dream is developed by HitherYon Games and published by Meridian4. It came out for PC in 2021. The game is an RPG with super cute sprite and a pretty interesting story and with a ton of side stories to explore.

The story is pretty simple, there is this paladin that has lost part of his memory and keeps having this dream. In the dream he fights a person that looks kinda like him, but darker. Who is this dark paladin and who is the paladin that causes havoc in the world…

While on your main quest, you will come across multiple characters that you need to give items to, they are kinda like sidequests but they dont really say they are. Best way to follow those is to keep an eye out on the achievement tab on steam. But they all have their own little story and are pretty fun to complete. Mostly they will just reward you with some extra items.

The gameplay of the game is your typical RPG game, defeat enemies and gain more power. Only in this game sadly it was a bit hard at some points because you can get stuck at some points if you dont save at the right time. I got stuck for a while early on on the start of the desert with some guards, i was not strong enough but i also couldnt go back to level up some more. So the game has a lot of trial and error you need to get through and you do need to make a lot of extra saves so you dont get stuck.

Visually Paladin Dream looks great, it has this classic RPG style with some cute sprites. I do wish the world itself would be a bit more open with a few more enemies scattered around, especially early on. Just like the visuals, the sound is just great and fits perfectly within the game, it brings a nice ambiance the just pulls you in and makes it feel like an immersive experiance.

The game has a lot of trial and error, for me personally, that is a bit of a turn-off, but overall the game has super cute sprites of the characters and it's nice to play through for a few minutes in your time off.
