Recently, I’ve been into incremental games, so when I saw a fishing one after loving Far Fishing a while back, I decided to take a chance on Profit Sea Incremental.
While not as good as Far Fishing, Profit Sea Incremental is a pretty nice and chill fishing game where you only have a few seconds to catch as many fish as possible to earn money. With the money you can buy multipliers like more damage, catch speed and radius, but also brand new powers like electricity and the ability to catch more rare fish.
This isn’t really a new concept, because of course it’s just fishing combined with the incremental genre. But its visuals are a nice change because most of the incremental games I’ve been playing recently have had that pixel look. Seeing something with actual rounded shapes was very refreshing. You can’t really see the fish you’re going to catch (they appear as darkened puddles), so it feels like a real random fishing pond. After the first few runs though, the specific fish don’t matter anymore, it’s all about catching as many fish as fast as possible.
Something that’s also different in this game is the milestone upgrades. The more you catch or the way you catch them counts toward milestones, and completing them usually gives you a permanent upgrade like a % boost to a relevant stat.
Overall, this isn’t the best incremental game I’ve played. After a while I did get semi-stuck in a few places that took a little too long to farm, and near the end the rounds themselves felt a bit too long for my liking. But I still think the game is pretty solid.
Final Verdict
Profit Sea Incremental is a relaxing and enjoyable fishing incremental game with nice visuals and fun progression. Perfect if you want something chill after more intense games like Far Fishing.
