    Introduction:

    Welcome to the Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice Trophy Guide!


    Saddle up officer, it’s time to return the favour to the gangs tearing the city apart and dispense Justice in a way only the Elite Members of the Pursuit Force can.

    Roadmap:

    Step 1: Justice Dispensed Two Fold
    Within this stage, you will want to focus your efforts on just completing the campaign and unlocking everything you can in order to clean up effectively in Stage 2. All you really need to worry about here is finishing the 30 missions available over the 5 Acts of the Story of the game. Anything you manage to unlock along the way like Adrenaline Shot, Pinned and Charged, of Extreme Justice is a Bonus. You will also want to upgrade using the Laboratory, the reason for this is if you don’t bother, or complete the campaign before gaining all the Upgrade Trophies you will need to replay a certain amount of the story to gain the Stars and upgrade.

    Step 2: Pursuit Force Elite in the Making
    Here you will want to clean up everything you missed in your initial playthrough and prepare for the final Three trophies, How Hard Can It Be? and Just Like the Old Days. The trophies you will need to focus on here are the ones like the shop and interrogations. If you, for some reason managed to go through the game without Failing a Case or driving the Wrong way you should be commended, however with the Rewind Feature in the game activated with the Options Button these Trophies are easy to miss out on.

    Step 3: Justice Dispenced, Extreme Style
    Now in the last leg of the race to Platinum, you will be tasked with completing a Challenge and working on the Bounty Mode. If you have things left over then now is the time to attack them, like Failing and Driving the Wrong way. You might also have some items in the shop to buy to get the trophy but there is enough that you should have been able to hit everything in the game pretty easily, and considering the trophy is for 10 you should already have that.

    During this step you’ll earn the following trophies:

    Controls:

    Since this was a PSP title and much like the original Pursuit Force, natively they do not support Triggers so the game will not let you utilise them, likewise, the camera will not be able to move independently of the character, which can make controlling the game clunky.

    Some of the controls highlighted above are altered to make them more friendly to playing the game. You can change them in the settings.

    TIPS:

    • Capturing a Vehicle is “normally” a good idea
    • Slow and Steady is a good tactic, just don’t try being the Hero!
    • Know your limits!
    • Abuse the rewind function to get a better run if you need to
    • The Cheats disable saving and Trophies. DO NOT use them, for this reason, they have not been included in the guide.
    • The game is a considerable amount easier than the previous one, you shouldn’t have trouble completing missions, however, if you are, try using the Bounty Mode to practice strategies.

    Adrenaline Shot
    Perform a Justice Shot during a case.

    This is performed once you have got a full justice meter, all you need to do once you have is jump to an enemy vehicle and kill at least one of the enemies. During a Justice Shot, time will slow and you will have the ability to target and kill enemies, which is different from when you just jump to an enemy vehicle.

    Pinned and Charged
    Arrest an enemy during a case.

    More than You Deserve
    Arrest 25 enemies during cases.

    Arresting enemies is achieved when you are on foot, simply run up to an enemy and you should initiate a Takedown. This will initiate a QTE (QuickTime Event) which can vary between enemies, some will be 3 buttons to press while others will be 4. Below are 2 examples.

    There are plenty of opportunities throughout the game to get this done, just remember you need to be in Close Quarters to engage in an arrest.

    The Garage Is Too Full
    Capture 25 vehicles during cases.

    UNMISSABLE

    This is simply done by jumping into vehicles and killing the occupants. There are more opportunities than you would think even if you don’t like procuring enemies’ vehicles some missions require you to.

    Extreme Justice
    Perform a Fatality ×3 combo during a case.

    This is hard to miss in a few sequences but the general idea is to kill a total of 3 enemies in rapid succession. Any mission you are on foot is easy, likewise with Sniping missions. You can also get this with some vehicles that have 3 enemies in, Justice Shot will work better for this.

    Cowboy
    Perform a Sharpshooter ×3 combo during a case.

    The idea of this is a little misleading with the image but all you need to do is headshot enemies, which can only be achieved in one of 2 events. These are on Foot or Sniper events. It is probably easier in on-foot events as the controls are a little nicer, however, you can probably get an easier time with Sniping.

    PIT Maneuver
    Perform a Brute Force ×3 combo during a case.

    Just like in the original game Brute Force is for ramming enemies, For this trophy, you will need to ram 3 enemies in quick succession. You can achieve this on a single enemy if you want to but it would be easier if you could have 2 enemies who you bounce off.

    Nothing but Scrap Metal
    Perform an Eliminator ×3 combo during a case.

    The Eliminator is awarded for destroying vehicles, however, you will also get it for destroying rockets that are shot at you. All you need to do is destroy 3 in rapid succession to gain the trophy.

    Where Are You Going?
    Go the wrong way during a case.

    Simply turn around in a case and get the arrow that tells you to turn around. Keep driving a little more and the trophy will be yours.

    This Is Surely Illegal
    Completely fill the emotion bar when interrogating a suspect.

    Unlike the Did Too Much you will want to focus on scaring the enemy for this. There are only 2 suspect interrogations throughout the game, the first is Billy Wilde on Mission Bombs Away and the second is the Syndicate goon in Mission A New Quarry. Either will work for this but its personal preference. For this, you will want to avoid collisions and grinding along walls, simply drive into traffic without crashing, perform jumps, and drive dangerously.

    Did Too Much
    Deplete half your suspect’s health during an interrogation.

    Similar to the above trophy, This Is Surely Illegal, You will want to actually collide with things. Drive into traffic, grind along the walls, and hit everything keeping an eye on the suspect’s health and Interrogation meter. Make sure once you have him below half health you complete the interrogation meter and don’t just kill him.

    Just Rolled into the Shop
    Activate an upgrade at the Laboratory.

    The Laboratory is where you can get enhancements for your Character, Car, Weapon, or even Justice Gauge. These four categories are broken down in the image below with a table highlighting what They are, the Cost, and What they do.

    How Hard Can It Be?

    Challenge missions are available once a mission is completed, Simply go into the Challenge portion of the Main Menu and pick which available challenge you would like to undertake. Below is a reference for you:

    For this trophy all you need to do is complete a mission in this mode to earn the trophy, Any mission you have already completed, as previously stated, works for this but below are the missions, with the condition.

    Star Player
    Collect 25 Stars in Bounty Mode.

    Stars are awarded for playing missions in Bounty Mode. The Higher the Difficulty the more stars you will earn. Each mission has 9 stars up for grabs, out of those 9 you can earn three per difficulty. This means playing on Casual will get you 3 stars while playing on Hardcore will earn you all 9 for the mission. The missions are just the missions you played through in the main campaign, with no differences. Even playing on Hardcore it isn’t much harder if you played on Casual in the main story. All you need to do is earn a total of 25 Stars to spend at the shop on bonuses. Refer to Spending Spree for information on what you can buy.

    Ideally, you would aim to complete all your missions in Hardcore mode as this will limit the grinding and amount of missions you need to complete to get the amount of Stars. The breakdown below highlights a way to get the required stars.

    • Casual Mode:

    You might notice that it prompts a score for the highest Star Amount. Where it is true that this is a factor, the author didn’t have any trouble meeting the star total that was needed. That’s not to say that its easy to get the score, it’s just something that you will probably get naturally as you work your way through getting the 25 stars you need for this trophy.

    Spending Spree
    Unlock 10 things in the Shop.

    The shop is accessed through the Main Menu and is the second to last option (5th Option down). Below is an image for Reference:

    All you need to do is earn Stars that are awarded in the Bounty Mode to buy things in the shop. The cheapest thing is 1 Star, for the Star Player you will need 25 Stars, which means if you can achieve that trophy you will have enough Stars to get the things in the shop for this Trophy. Below is a list of everything you can buy in a category breakdown.

    All the categories have something that is useful like Vehicles to use, movies to rewatch or even cheats, which disable trophies like the first game. Because there is no real way to illustrate what is what, this was the best way to highlight things, below is a reference image.

    As the image above highlights, there are 9 items per panel, and the cost of the item is in the bottom left corner. On most of the panels, you will find them costing from 1 Star to 6 Stars as broken down in the above image. However, there is one panel that is broken down differently, which is the Super Cheats, below is what they are broken down like.

    As the above image highlights, it is still broken down as 1 Star but its highest is 7 Stars. Another difference is that it only has 8 items.

    Lost the Plot
    Fail any case.

    Like the first game, you are asked to actively fail a case, which can be difficult if you use the rewind function when things start going back. However, with this game, you only need to get the Case Failed Screen which shows the second you die/ you run out of time/ your allies die, Basically, when the condition is failed you get this trophy. There is nothing hard about it, and there are some Act 5 missions that you will probably get this one naturally.
