A game that comes with a warning: you’re going to laugh, but you’re also going to get angry. Today’s review is about a game you’ve probably already seen on TikTok or other socials: RV There Yet. A game that can strengthen friendships or completely break them, it’s up to you. This game was created and released by Nuggets Entertainment.
What is RV There Yet?
RV There Yet is a co-op adventure game where the goal is to drive your RV back home. You can play with up to four people (that’s you plus three others). You and your friends are on your way home after a relaxing vacation, but you’re forced to take an alternative route. Guide your camper through the backcountry and find the exit to Route 65. The route is filled with obstacles and challenges, and on top of that, you actually have to survive. You might enter Mabutts Valley alive, but that doesn’t mean you’ll make it out alive.
Surviving the chaos and what makes it unique
To stay alive, you’ll need to make smart use of a constant supply of hamburgers, antidotes, and of course, the classic: EpiPens. Make sure to also pick up scrap metal and any other useful items you find along the way. Everything can be used to repair your RV, and trust me, you’ll need it. One of the most unique parts of RV There Yet is how often you rely on the winch. Your RV gets stuck constantly, and you have a winch on both the front and back. These tools are literally your lifeline. I ended up being the one who always had to hop out, hook up the winch, and operate it with the remote. The idea is simple: find a tree, attach the cable, and slowly pull the RV up or free again. Later on, you unlock hooks that you can attach the winch to, which definitely helps. At least… when the physics aren’t acting up.

Our opinion
Now for the most important part: what do we think of the game? The game is definitely unique. Instead of shooting guns or jumping on platforms, this game introduces a new concept: “drive your RV across rough terrain”. We really like that another co-op game has come out, because honestly, who doesn’t want that? Gaming together with your friends is always a win. The chaos with your friends is what makes the game fun and keeps it fun, but if anything in that formula changes, the fun disappears pretty quickly. In the beginning, I laughed and had a great time with Dex. Lots of laughing, lots of yelling, but that’s exactly what makes a gaming session a real gaming session. The humor also keeps things light. You quickly notice that the game relies heavily on physics that behave weirdly. Your RV gets stuck all the time, and that creates glitches that are genuinely hilarious.
When we called it quits and is it worth it?
But when we died, got respawned far back, and had to redo the same things again, we closed the game. It also starts to feel a bit limited after a while, as if you’re stuck in the same area over and over. Still, keep in mind that the game is extremely budget-friendly. It’s around 7 euros, which is honestly a really good price for a game like this. A price that makes you think: this can’t really go wrong. Our advice: got nothing to play? Buy it and try it, because the laugh-scream-chaos session is absolutely worth those 7 euros.
