Welcome to The LEGO Movie 2: The Videogame Trophy Guide! In this Lego game, they changed up the format of the standard Lego games and removed the mini-kits, and completely opened up the levels. Game by TT Games.

Step 1: Complete the story
the story will take you to multiple of the worlds and you will also already have a few of the Master Bricks for completing them. you will also get a few miscellaneous trophies along the way.

Step 2: Complete the extra worlds, collect all the Master Bricks, and 100%
In every main world are 50 master bricks and in every extra world 25. there is only 1 world with 40 master bricks but you will need to have completed everything else in the other worlds to get all the stuff needed for the builder world. After getting all those master bricks a final world will open where the last 10 master bricks are located. you will also get the 100% trophy because characters and items are not counted toward the 100%

You are Just as Special as we are Unlock all Trophies in The LEGO® Movie 2 – Videogame

This is the platinum, there is not much explaining to do about it, just get all the other 50 trophies and the platinum is yours.

A Heckish Place to Live Complete the Apocalypseburg Level

After you’ve defeated the Boss you have to walk to the portal, once there you need to store 12 master bricks to open it, after the portal has been opened the trophy should pop. From there you can either continue to the next stage or stay and collect some more master bricks.

Freeway Fighter Defeat the Apocalypseburg Boss

After getting the Sticker Gun you would now have to make your way to the end portal, be warned that the portal is blocked by a boss that you need to defeat to get by, when the boss battle begins, you need to make your way to the fountain that is on fire, once there; you need to craft a sprinkler and extinguish the flames around the fountain, the boss will be drawn to the fountain and is stunned, his head will stay lowered, you jump on its head; you’re gonna want to pass the vaulting segments and leap into the inner room. where you need to play “whack-a-mole” with the numerous purple enemies.

When you are back at the starting point you’ll need to make your way to the 2nd fountain and craft a generator to power the fountain. then it should be a rinse and repeat of the 1st encounter, the only difference now is when you’re in the “whack-a-mole” section of the level, now there are blue pop-ups, avoid them.

Then you get send back to the starting point 1 last time and the boss will now strike you via “head swings”, once you’ve avoided one of the boss’s strikes the puddles are now available to you, make your way to one of the puddles, make another generator and place it near the puddle, the boss should swing its self into the electrocuted puddle, stunning itself again. This time build the trampoline, get on it, and make a huge jump onto its head, rinse and repeat the same process you have done twice now, to finally defeat the boss. (Take note to keep collecting bricks as the boss fight ensues, you’ll need those bricks later)

Apocalypseburg Master Collect All Master Pieces on Apocalypseburg

Mind if I save your life? Complete the Asteroid Field Level

You are stranded on an asteroid and you need to find a way off it. On your journey you find rex and he will help you find a new space ship, when you find a space ship it gets destroyed by a meteor, you then need to find the exit portal and when you find it it’s yours.

Asteroid Master Collect all Master Pieces in the Asteroid Field

Student has become the teaching assistant Complete the Systarian Jungle Level

After you’ve defeated the Systarian Jungle Boss a gate will open, walk towards it and some NPC will talk to you and then you have the trophy.

Lick of Paint Defeat the Systarian Jungle Boss

After you’ve opened the gate and the cut-scene played there will be a big white pineapple on the left that you need to paint fully green with the Paint Wand you got earlier from Unikitty. The boss will try and eat it and then another will spawn on the right and also paint that one green with the wand and when he bites it again he will be stunned, you need to walk towards him and do a small vaulting segment and then you need to do a “whack-a-mole” segment just like on the first boss. then another pineapple will spawn in the middle of the map, paint it green, do another vaulting segment and the “whack-a-mole” to defeat the boss.

Jungle Master Collect all Master Pieces in the Systarian Jungle

A Real Grumple Dumpus Complete the Harmony City Level

You start in a city that is brainwashed and you need to figure out what to do. Help the Justice League with some tasks and Superman will make a path open to another part of the town with MetalBeard. When you are united with him you need to turn off the speakers and then you get a party invite that opens the portal area, open the portal with 15 master bricks and the trophy is yours.

Harmony Master Collect all Master Pieces in Harmony City

Sorted! Complete the Sorting Area Level

After you’ve defeated the boss, simply follow the brick carrier to the end portal, then put 16 master bricks into the activation beacon, and the trophy is yours.

He’s (Almost) Armless! Defeat the Sorting Area Boss

In this boss fight you need to defeat some sort of brick vacuum, when you go to the right you will see some green bricks that are poisoned and you can switch the baskets with the green buttons on the floor, simply keep switching the green bricks to the right until you get it under the vacuum. you will need to do another vaulting segment while he is stunned and swinging his arms around until you get to his head and do a “whack-a-mole” segment.

he will then push you back to the buckets, you will need to do the same thing as before but now you need to go a little further because the green bricks are a bit further away. This time you won’t do a vaulting segment right away as he is spewing ink around, you will need to go to the right again while taking cover from the ink behind barriers. When you get to the pink bucket, the boss will suck them up and be stunned, then you need to repeat the vaulting and “whack-a-mole” segment and then you have defeated the boss.

Sorting Master Collect all Master Pieces in the Sorting Area

There ain’t nothing you can’t break!  Complete The Ceremony Level

After you have collected Batman and hit grapple, you can make your way to the cake and do a few quests on the way there. after you have gotten up on the clouds and stopped the marriage a cut-scene will play and then you only need to open the end portal and the trophy is yours.

Robot Reboot  Complete Classic Bricksburg

You need to find Lucy and she will explain that the robots of President Business have been activated, you need to find a robot gun and then go to President Business himself only to find out that the robots have a bug in their latest update.

A Fistful of Studs Complete the Old West

You will need to do 3 missions where you need to capture 3 different robots that are guarded by a few enemies, simply defeat the enemies and the robot will follow you to the sheriff, after you have done this 3 times the trophy should be yours.

One King to Rule Them All Complete Middle Zealand

You need to help the king get his sword, help him get a Crystal and find the wizard in his tower and bring everything to him.

The Opposite of the Opposite of Happiness! Complete Planet Unikitty

On Planet Unikitty you need to find Unikitty, she wants you to find her brother for a party, he needs you to find his beach ball and then you go back to the party, Unikitty doesn’t have a DJ and wants you to find one. when you find the DJ bring him to the party and the trophy is yours.

Master Kitty Collect all Master Pieces on Planet Unikitty

Totally Zenned Out Complete the Planet Sparkles Level

Planet Sparkles is a big Spa planet where the Justice League is staying, you need to complete some tasks for them.

End of Part Two Complete the Main Story

This trophy will pop before even opening the end gate at The Ceremony level.

Save Lucy Unlock Lucy

This will most likely be your first trophy in the game. in the first 5 minutes of the game will learn how to build helpful items and as a tutorial, you need to save Lucy with a micromanager.

Vest Friends Unlock Rex

when you are stranded on the asteroid level you need to find a replacement ship, while looking for it you find that you are unable to continue because of some space debris that is blocking your way, the only way to destroy it is with special space gloves. The person with the gloves is Rex, you need to find his dinosaurs and then you will unlock him and the gloves.

Jungle Kitty Unlock Unikitty

When you are looking for a way into a giant gate you will come across Unikitty onto of a giant tree, she will give you a magic wand and you will also unlock her.

Back in the P-Arrr-ty Unlock MetalBeard

After you have helped some members of the Justice League, Superman will clear a path for you to go to another part of the city. You find MetalBeard near a ship and he wants some ice cream, go to the crashed ice truck, use the sprinklers, give him the ice and he is yours.

I was talking to the spaceship… Unlock Benny

You will get Benny almost at the beginning of the Sorting Area level, you will need to collect 2 objects and you will unlock him. You will also get a blowtorch that you will need to use in the level

The Man of Bats Unlock Batman

When you get to The Ceremony you will need to do some parkour on some bridges and past the shop is Batman, simply talk to him and you will unlock him and you will also get hit grappling gun that you will use during the level.

Time to Face the Music Unlock Sweet Mayhem

You will need to climb a lot of clouds and make a giant grapple to take down her ship, once at the top you will need to talk to her and then you will unlock her with her jetpack and gravity beam.

The Gold Standard Unlock a Gold Character Variant

You need to keep opening relics, after a while you get mostly duplicates but that a good thing because they turn into relics that guarantee new characters so you will get them if you keep collecting and opening them.

License to Build Complete the Syspocalypstar Sandbox Tutorial

After you arrive at Syspocalypstar you need to do a build, relic and shop tutorial. If you have completed those you have to build Emmet’s house as part of the story. After you’ve done so, the trophy is yours.

City Planner Build 20 Buildings in Syspocalypstar

On Syspocalypstar you need a total of 40 master bricks but every quest is to build something so while doing all the quest you are gonna get this trophy.

Bountiful Bricks Collect 1000 Brick Pickups

Every time you destroy an object you get a few bricks to build helpful items. If you keep destroying everything on your path you should be getting this in between the asteroid and jungle level.

Simply the Chest Open a Discovery Chest

After going down the rope in the open-world tutorial simply go to the right, punch the box and the trophy is yours, you will also get some relics that you can open in the shop later on for a different trophy.

Oodles of Items Collect 100 Items in the Game

Keep opening the item relics for this trophy. If you’ve opened almost all the chests in the game you should be getting it at the end of the jungle level.

Cavalcade of Costumes Collect 100 Characters in the Game

This trophy is hard to miss if you keep opening the relics. If you open Character relics you get a character but there is a chance you get a duplicate, if you have a duplicate you will get a part of a gold relic and that will guarantee you a new one.

A Knack for Discovery Open your First Relic

As part of the Syspocalypstar tutorial, you need to help build a shop. After you’ve built a shop you get a free relic to open in the shop.

You can Relics now Open 50 Relics

You simply need to find 50 relics and open them in a shop in a word, you don’t have to open them individually but you can open them up in groups to make it go by faster. if you open all the chest the trophy should pop around the end of the asteroid level or the beginning of the jungle level

Why can’t we be Friends? Play as a Minidoll for the First Time

After the shop tutorial on Syspocalypstar you unlock Tempo the shop owner, simply switch to that character and the trophy is yours

What are ya Buyin? Buy Something in a Shop

This trophy is part of the Syspocalypstar tutorial, after you’ve opened your first relic you need to buy Emmet’s house to build a rocket ship. That’s when the trophy should pop.

Déjà Vu? Open your first duplicate relic

This trophy is almost unmissable, after the tutorial on Syspocalypstar you can open all the relic’s you have collected and you should get a few duplicates.

Eat it and weep Do a build attack

As part of the fighting tutorial, you will need to use a build attack, when you see the prompt on screen simply hold square and follow the buttons on the screen.

Intergalactic Planetary Scavenger Complete the Game to 100%

After you have collected all the other master bricks (including the 40 on Syspocalypstar), you will get a new land where are a total of 10 master bricks, collect those and you got the 100% and also with it the platinum!

Richer than Bruce Wayne Collect 1,000,000 Studs

For this trophy you need to collect 1,000,000 (1 million) studs, it seems hard but if you keep opening chests and catch the hearts you get a lot of studs and you should get this trophy between the asteroid level and the jungle level.

Stick to the Plan Shoot 50 Stickers with the Sticker Gun

After you’ve shot down the alien space ship the sticker gun will drop and you can use the gun, simply shoot at the wall 50 times.

Unexpected Item in Building Area Try and place an object somewhere you can’t, while on Syspocalypstar.

So when you are in Syspocalypstar you can build everywhere except on top of another building of item, you can find a tree or a flower and when you try to build the box should become red, when its red you can’t place an object but if you try and do it the trophy should pop.
