After a long week it’s finally weekend again, so that means that it’s time to sit back, relax and play some games! So what is the team playing this weekend?
EssTee – Guide Writer
Howdy hoe’s n bro’s! Have we all had a fantastic week now that the UK pubs have re-opened haha?? So if I can peel myself away from socialising with a sweet pint this weekend, I have 2 games on the cards to play. Firstly I’ll be returning to Inertial Drift, I’ve been 1 trophy off the plat for ages… It’s an awesome game but bloody hard! Annnnd what excited me is I noticed a couple days ago a new version update landed v1.04 which says has lowered some of the event difficulties!! Which is real exciting, so I need to try again and see if I can finally beat that dastardly Grand Prix trophy.
Secondly, I’m pretty excited to play this new retro platformer called Savage Halloween. You get to play as a Werewolf! Yes! Called Lulu… lol. Or you can play as Dominika the dominatrix vampire, or a pumpkin lord, called, well, James, of course! Everything about it just amuses me, so it’s a fun mix of a lil bit of comedy horror, and a lil bit of old skool goodness. Here’s the blurb: “In Savage Halloween, the world is taken over by monsters from the afterlife who were trapped on Earth after a Halloween party. Every year the monsters are invited to the big 24hr Halloween rave, but this time no one came home, as an evil vampire used a spell to block the passage back to the afterlife because, according to him, the party could not stop!” I mean that just sounds great right haha. So expect a guide from me for this one soon!
Update from April 9th: I’m pretty close to my #950 platinum milestone, so to speed up getting there this week I did what trophy hunters do and got 10 quick plats, from things like Kingdom of Arcadia, Legends of Talia, The Language of Love, Lost Wing, etc stuff like that.

What a silly boy I have been…. I honestly didn’t expect to obtain 35 platinum trophies throughout the last week, but then again it’s what I love doing. I went a bit hard on the quick platinums throughout the week and I have now approached the 1,600 milestone without anything prepped.
I’ll therefore be playing another weekend of Control: Ultimate Edition to knock out North American stack for my milestone. I don’t mind this to be honest, as I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it twice before.
Update from April 9th 2021: The Wreckfect & Yoko & Yuki: Dr Rat’s Revenge trophy guides were completed for you all to enjoy and a fair few platinum trophies were achieved throughout the weekend.

After a week of work, I’m finally ready to relax. Thanks to the “Play at Home” initiative, we all received some free games and that’s what I will play this weekend.
Subnautica, an underwater adventure open world, is the game that attracts me the most so I will for sure begin with it. Anything better than relaxing while exploring an alien ocean!
I will also write a guide for “Heal“, the newest Ratalaika Games I loved and I highly recommend. Jesse Makkonen creates little but amazing videogames that are always a pleasure to do.
Oniwalker – Guide Writer and Reviewer
In all honesty, this is a weekend, besides Chronos Before The Ashes for a review, Vermintide, and It Takes Two, each with friends, I’m not sure I feel like playing anything else. I’m kind of in a slump it feels. Between having 11 days left on PsNow, and wanting to play something in that time frame, and getting ready for Resident Evil 8, I just have no idea what I truly want to do. So I feel like this is going to be a very unproductive weekend for me….although for all, I know my slump could turn around tomorrow!
Update from April 9th: I played some Atelier Escha & Logy, and I actually finished it at 3 am today. So that’s over with, and then I also played the hell out of Resistance Burning Skies last weekend. It was such a fun game and I’m glad I finally got the chance to play it.

This week I’m for sure going to be doing what my plan is, and that is grinding out Avengers. I’ve been at this game for over a month now and I wanna get it over with. The grind is so boring, but I’m sure I can maybe finally pop the platinum this weekend!
Update from April 9th: Just like every week, my weekend didn’t go as planned. I did play some Neverwinter….. But I ragequit pretty early on because of how stupid it was, so I rather just wait for the boost sessions for this, because it is a pain to play the PVP in Neverwinter
